Located on the North Platte River in Carbon County, Wyo., Kortes is part of the federal government’s Pick-Sloan Missouri Basin project. Reclamation now seeks bids to replace AC and DC electrical distribution equipment and cables; provide new 480-volt combination switchboard/switchgear D2A, combination transformer/load-centers D2B and D2C, 208/120-volt main lighting distribution cabinet L2A, lighting panelboards, conductors and raceway; and modify six motor-control/contactor-control circuits with the addition of control power transformers. The work is valued at $1 million to $5 million.
