U.S. seeks supplier of parts for Woodward Governor equipment

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks information from suppliers able to supply parts, supplies and technical support for Woodward Governor Co. equipment in its Nashville District. Responses are due Feb. 14.

The Nashville District previously called for bids by Feb. 24 for electrical service replacement at Barkley Lock, part of the 130-MW Barkley hydroelectric complex on the Cumberland River in Kentucky. It took bids in November to refurbish turbine-generators at 135-MW Center Hill Dam in Tennessee. It also awarded a contract last year to Terracon Consultants Inc. for geotechnical engineering services at Center Hill and 270-MW Wolf Creek Dam.

In a sources sought notice, the Nashville District now seeks suppliers of parts to fully rehabilitate and recalibrate a Woodward Governor Co. cabinet actuator, governor pumps and all controls. The supplier is to have a sales department and standby parts inventory, in-house employees and experience in relevant work.

The sources sought notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering solicitation No. W912P514RRFI2 in the “Keyword/Solicitation #” box.
