U.S. seeks surveying, mapping, dam deformation studies

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks bids to perform surveying, mapping and dam deformation studies for Corps projects in the South and possibly worldwide. Questions may be submitted until Feb. 25, with bids due March 11.

The Corps’ Walla Walla District recruited firms in February for hydrographic surveying and mapping in the Corps’ Northwestern Division. The Corps’ Portland District issued a similar solicitation last year.

In the current solicitation, the Corps’ Mobile District seeks bids to perform services such as airborne light detecting and ranging (LiDAR) collection, airborne multi-spectral and hyper-spectral data collection and analysis, photogrammetry, hydrographic surveying, high accuracy dam deformation surveys, conventional and global positioning system (GPS) surveying, and geographic information system (GIS) development.

The Mobile District anticipates awarding one small business set-aside contract and three unrestricted contracts with a shared capacity of $10 million.

A solicitation notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering Solicitation No. W9127815R0027 in the “Keyword/Solicitation #” box. Questions may be submitted until 2 p.m., Central time, Feb. 25 via a bidder inquiry Internet portal, www.projnet.org/projnet.

Bidders are required to submit Standard Form 330 proposals by March 11 to Allison Jones, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, CESAM-EN-DW, 109 St. Joseph St., Mobile, AL 36602. SF 330 forms may be obtained on the Internet at www.gsa.gov/portal/forms/download/116486.
