Vietnam utility seeks bids to equip 2.8-MW So Vin hydro project

Vietnam hydropower developer Son La Power Co. seeks bids to supply turbine-generators and other equipment for the 2.8-MW So Vin hydroelectric project in Vietnam’s Muong Te commune of Son La Province. Bids are due September 16.

Under the Asian Development Bank (ADB) renewable energy development and network expansion program, two Vietnam developers called for bids in July and September to supply turbine-generators and other equipment for the 7.5-MW Nam Nghe and 7.5-MW Dak Pring hydroelectric projects. Bids also were taken in March to equip the 7.5-MW Nam Pay hydroelectric project.

Now with funding from the ADB program, Son La Power seeks supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electro-mechanical equipment including turbine and generator, complete electrical equipment in the plant, 35/6 kilovolt system, communication system and 35/6 kV substation equipment for So Vin.
